Quick Weight Loss Is it an Epidemic?

We all get exposed to late night TV ads. The discovery of one miracle supplement after another that makes every desire easy. Advertising convinces everyone diet pills are a panacea. The message is clear for young and old there is an ad marketing a pill for us all. Ladies get the brunt of weightloss ads. Men may be hit by the messages for increasing size. Pick up the phone and order penis enlargement pills. Does it feel like everybody and their mother happens to be on some kind of diet? In the last few decades people have associated beautiful with thin. Due to the fact that everyone wants to be beautiful, every person wants to lose weight. In America, the popularity of the diet has become a joke. Promises to get rid of the fat, trim your waste, get rid of and keep off the pounds, have made their way into almost everyone's vocabulary.

Various frozen diet meals promise results. All diets will ultimately fail! That is unless you exercise self control. The math is very easy. The calories that you are taking in must be less than the number of calories that are burned. That if you get rid of more calories than you bring in, then the weight will come off. That is just a fact. This is the key ingredient to success. Diets help you by making foods that put a limit on the number of calories you consume. They achieve this by suggesting low caloric foods small portion sizes, or a combination of both. the reality of weight loss is that unless you review you diet plan closely, you have a rather large chance of failing. Either you are too hungry to limit yourself to the portions, or you are not capable of doing enough exercise to burn off the calories you have taken in. This is not to say you are a lazy person it does say that foods we consume is larger than our capability to exercise the calories away. 2060 calories a day can be burned with 3 hours of hard exercise on an elliptical machine. Does anyone have this kind of willpower? Even for those that have the willpower what about the time? So we are then faced with either having a hungry sensation or over exercise. These options are not comfortable, which is inevitably why most diets fail. Other diets bring health concerns into the picture. When it all done, and you finally reached your desired weight, chances are that you will discontinue the diet. The constant on and off cycle of weight loss and weight gain has the potential to wreak havoc on your system. At one point or another, we need to ask the question, Is what we are doing to our body to be thin really worth it?
