<h2>Garden Exercise Routine</h2>
If you can spend time working in your garden every single day it’s possible to work the same muscles in your garden that you would working out in the gym.
As with any exercise routine it’s best to not work the same muscles every single day. The following is an example exercise routine that anyone can do in their garden.</p>

<p>Monday – Chest / Back / Shoulders – These body parts can be worked by digging with a shovel, pushing a wheel barrel, lifting heavy rocks and lifting trash cans that are filled with debris. With these physical movements it’s important to focus on repetition. </p>

<p>For example, if you’re going to be digging a big hole make sure that you get enough repetitions in so you actually feel that you’re working your shoulders and arms. If you feel the burning sensation in your muscles then you will know that you are getting a gym quality workout. </p>

<p>A typical workout is split up into sets, so, for your garden workout you could do five sets each of digging for 10 to 12 reps, lifting heavy rocks for 8 to 10 reps, lifting your heavy trash can for 10 to 12 reps and pushing a wheel that’s filled with heavy rocks or dirt in a straight line for 10 to 12 reps.
<h2>Warm Up First!</h2>
Before attempting to get exercise in your garden make sure that you warm up your muscles thoroughly just like you would in a gym because it’s just as easy to injure yourself working outside as you could anywhere else.</p>

<p>It’s also important to always focus on always lifting heavy loads with your legs because this will help to limit potential injuries to your back.</p>

<p><strong>Stamina</strong> - This is a combination of cardio-respiratory endurance and muscular endurance.</p>

<p><strong>Cardio-respiratory endurance</strong> - this is the ability of the heart and lungs to some get oxygen to the muscles, the reason for this is that the muscles can perform for a long time. This type of fitness can be developed by exercising in your training zone with just at lease 3 times per week for a duration of at least 20 minutes.</p>

<p><strong>Muscular endurance</strong> -this is the ability of a muscle or group of muscles to perform for a long time. This can be developed only through weight lifting and some exercises such as press ups, sit-ups etc. TThe only important point to note about developing muscular endurance is that you must exercise with high reps and low weight to get the desired effect.</p>

<p><strong>Strength</strong> - This is the greatest force that a muscle can produce in pushing, pulling, lifting or striking actions. This type of fitness is usually developed by  just following a weight lifting program. An important point to remember is to exercise with just a low reps and high weight.</p>

<p><strong>Speed</strong> - This is how muscles in the joint can move quickly. This can also be apply to the movement
of the whole body, or to the movement of a part of the body, specially the arm.</p>

<p><strong>Power</strong> - it is the ability of the body to produce an explosive effort. It was created with the
combination of strength and speed.</p>

<p><strong>Flexibility or suppleness</strong> - stretching muscles, that is its ability, so that a joint has a large range of movement. Flexibility can be affected by injury, muscle, tendons, ligaments and skin.</p>]]></content:encoded>
